Three hundred metres over the reef, then a wakeboard and an inflatable water park. Kendwa is the island's motor-watersports beach. Zanzibar Watersports flies parasails about 300 metres over the Nungwi–Kendwa reef (tandem rides allowed) and tows waterskiers, wakeboarders and ringos; Nengo Water Sports adds jet skis, a "jet car", clear kayaks and drone filming. Just offshore, Splash Paradise is an inflatable water park of slides and climbing walls, open daily. How to book: Book on the beach or ahead with Zanzibar Watersports (zanzibarwatersports.com) or Nengo Water Sports (nengowatersports.com). For Splash Paradise, life vests are compulsory, under-12s need an adult and everyone signs a waiver.
